Make a PDF smaller for email or upload limits. Free every day, and the file stays on your computer.
The tool
How it works
- Drop a PDF.
- Pick a level. Light keeps text selectable; medium and strong rebuild pages as images, which is what makes big scans small.
- Download and check the size shown.
Your file stays on your computer
The work happens in this page, in your browser. Your file is never uploaded, stored, or seen by us. Open your browser's network tab while you use the tool: nothing is sent. Details in the privacy policy.
Worked example
Input: A 24 MB scanned lease.
Output: Medium: about 3 MB. Strong: about 1.5 MB, still readable on screen.
Questions people ask
Why did light barely change the size?
Light only rewrites the file structure, so it helps bloated exports and does little for image-heavy PDFs. Use medium or strong for scans.
Will I lose selectable text?
With medium and strong, yes: pages become images. With light, no. We say this up front because most sites do not.
Is my PDF uploaded?
No. Everything runs in this page.
What does it cost?
Free every day up to the daily cap. Plans remove the cap and take files up to 200 MB.
How do I cancel a plan?
